Battania has longbow. The best archers belong to Battania. But only their noble unit can become archers, which makes them relatively rare and hard to get a decent amount of. Every other faction can have an archer from their "normal" unit. So if your looking for mass range maybe try out vlandian sharpshooters. Wildlings should lose the spear and get another stack of thrown. Make them truly skirmishers. Battanian Wildlings get a stack of javelins. Aserai Faris is the only Javelin orientated Noble troop. Battanians and Aserai are the best throwing cultures imo. Sturgian Axemen easily. Doesn't do anything different than all other veteran archers (All have Bow Skill 130), but has better armor -> Lives longer. Cavalry Troop (Vlandia) Banner Knight. Beat Cataphracts, who are the only other contenders for this spot. They even do well enough against dedicated anti-cavalry units, which says a lot.

Tier 1 Units Tier List – Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord. Source: LT Gaming from YouTube. We have tested all of the units one against the other, and we singled out the tiers for the units. We have from S tier to E tier. The S-tier units are the best of the best, and the E-tier is the bottom of the barrel. The bottom tier is not the weakest, and RELATED: Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord - Best Riding Perks. Small Units Tactics is not an optimal perk in most situations. If you are having a hard time clearing bandit hideouts in the early game, you can choose this perk to help you and switch back to Horde Leader later on when you have better combat skills.
If you don't have enough of the batty boys then Aserai Master Archers are your next bet for sheer rate of fire. You could try shock troopers like Aserai Palace Guards, Imperial Menavliatons or Sturgy Heroic Line Breakers guarding the ladders for their reach but they may get picked off by enemy archers. It's always fun to jump on a ballista to

The point of Vlad Crossbowmen is you can field a whole lot of them and they are easily replaceable. Any crossbow will pack a punch anyway so their 130 crossbow skill won't be a detriment. The f*ckers are still much more accurate than archers (I've been hit too many times by them from so far away to not know this) #6. Battanian Fian Champions are the sixth-tier noble troops of Battania. Battanian Fian Champions are the premier foot archers of Bannerlord. While rare, if a patient player can prepare even a small force of these to support their army, they will single-handedly win battles. Their bows are powerful, accurate, and out-range most, if not all archers in the game. Their armor is on par with most Troop Trees are a way for Bannerlord to show players exactly which way their various troops can go. Let’s say you have a normal peasant in your army. They will usually be a tier 0 troop. If you look through this peasant’s Troop Tree, you will see that at tier 2 you might have a choice between making them an archer or infantry unit. Head to any large town or city, those with a tavern. Although you can hire Companions here by seeing if there is one in the portrait bar at the top, this is where special units hide. They do not show in the portrait icon space. You have to actually enter the tavern. With their powerful arrows, they can take out some of the most impactful troops before they even have a chance to shine. In Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, archer units are incredibly powerful since they can shoot like snipers and kill like monsters.
Battania best archers Fian champions, bad infantry and ugly Cavalry, good shock troops. Sturgia good infantry and shock troops, worst archers, decent Noble cavalry. Khuzait decent infantry, bad cavalry, bad archers, but arguably the best unit in game, Khan guards horse archers. Vlandia bad infantry, Best crossbowmen, best shock troops, arguably
Nord Huscarls beat every other unit in the game when it comes to being infantry, so they are the best for sieges. Even Swadian Knights don't compare without their horses. Vaegir Marksmen are the best battlefield archers, and Rhodok Sharpshooters are the best siege archers. Practical_Necessary1. • 1 yr. ago.
Khuzait Khan’s Guard. Heralds of death and destruction. They are disgustingly powerful and able to overpower anything in a record time. They have one of the best weapons in a game: the glaive, a polearm that can swing thus giving the Khan’s Guard a lot of flexibility and reach. The best mounted archers in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord are the Khuzait Heavy Horse Archer and AseraI Heavy Mameluk Cavalry. Both sport Bow and Riding skills of 130 alongside decent armor, however, the Khuzait upgrade path features mounted archers all throughout while the Aserai's requires going through melee units before getting to their .
