Ive isolated the noise to only happen during acceleration going forward. no noise parked reving the engine. no noise acceleration going in reverse. i mosly hear it at low speed but i can faintly hear it at higher speeds while accel.

I'm not sure exactly how it is accomplished on the 5.7 but have heard here that the engine really comes alive around 4,000 rpm. This is likely where the valves are opened/advanced most fully. 2015 R/T SP, 23G, 6-Speed Tremec, SG-II (ordered 7/10, built 9/8, home 9/17/14)

You are comparing apples to shoes, almost. Part of the reason for moving from solid/mechanical lifters was to reduce/eliminate valve train noise.

Also the high spring pressures from the heads also cause the ticking sounds. We have addressed this on the forum for 7}

I have been told that exhaust like Magna Flow that uses fiberglass in mufflers takes awhile to compact and the sound increases within a couple months, whereas brands like Flow Master that uses baffle technology the sound starts from day one.
