Instead, Ubi insists on shoving their awful mission design and terrible writing down your throat, making every play through - and pretty much every one of their games - nearly identical in the process. Dogshit storyline, most weapons don't even have the correct BUIS (Backup iron sights) for the real life counterpart, you literally have plot armor, and enemies don't even turn into a pink mist when you plop a sticky grenade straight to their face.
I played FC4 and FC3. Easily my top 10 games. I’m an open world kinda gamer and play all open world games. From Rockstar to Ubisoft to Square Enix to Volatile to literally any open world you can think of…Far Cry games still hit my top 10.
Far Cry 5 ends with a series of nuclear bombs destroying the earth. The extent of which is global. New Dawn takes place in a post-apocalyptic version of Montana and leans into the crazier elements of Far Cry. The big issue with this spin-off is the world is heavily recycled from Far Cry 5. Also, the story was immediately forgettable.
